Several tornado warnings issued Tuesday morning for parts of Evangeline Parish. Damage is reported in Basile at Rhea's Specialty Meats. Two people suffered minor injuries Tuesday morning after a tornado touched down near Basile, according to the National Weather Service. The injuries occurred about 8:30 a.m. at a meat market on US 190 near the west side of Basile, according to NWS meteorologist Johnathon Brazzell.
