According to a White House official, Apple will announce a new $100 billion commitment in the U.S., an acceleration of its U.S. investment that now totals $600 billion over the next four years.

Investments will bring more of its supply chain and advanced manufacturing to the U.S. as part of an initiative called the American Manufacturing Program
