An air quality alert remains in effect for the entire Chicago area, with another "Air Pollution Action Day" alert declared as wildfire smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to impact parts of the Midwest.

Smoke will remain in the skies over Chicagoland tonight and Wednesday. Tomorrow will be a hot day with highs just shy of 90 degrees. There is a chance for showers or storms Wednesday night into Thursday.
