Denver Broncos may wear throwback, alternate uniforms

NFL updates uniform policy, allows teams to wear throwback or alternate jerseys more than ever before

The NFL is listening to its fans, its teams and its players when it comes to uniforms. On Monday at the annual league meetings, the league informed NFL team owners that their clubs could wear their throwback or alternate jerseys up to four times in a 17-game regular season.

Previously, teams were allowed to wear the jerseys three times in a season. Denver wore its throwback jersey in Week 5 against the Raiders and Week 18 against the Chiefs. The Broncos wore their Midnight Navy alternate jerseys in Week 13 against Cleveland.
