Vinton Police said they are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a bank in Vinton on February 3. Vinton PD said officers responded to the Truist Bank on Washington Avenue around 4:40 p.m. on Monday after reports of a robbery.

Police are trying to find the suspect of a bank robbery who they said took off on foot after taking money from the Truist Bank in Vinton.

VINTON, Va. (WDBJ) - The Vinton Police Department is in search of the person responsible for a bank robbery. According to police, officers received reports of a robbery at 4:40 p.m. Monday in the Truist Bank on Washington Avenue. Police say the robber is described as a white man wearing a camouflage hoodie and a mask covering his face.
