- Roblox is huge. 169M monthly users, while the Quest 2 hit around 6.5M in late 2022, making the active Roblox user base more than 25x larger, or 500x-1000x the active Horizon World user base.

The Roblox company announced the Roblox Open Beta app on the Meta Quest App Lab via a press release on the company’s developer forum on July 27, 2023.

In it, Heath reports Roblox may be arriving on Quest in the second half of 2023, however that “plans are subject to change.” Thus far, neither Meta nor Roblox has responded for comment.

Roblox on Quest will be available for people ages 13 and up. Meta says it plans to share more details as the open beta approaches. The Meta Quest 3 costs $499 and will arrive this fall.
