Users will no longer see cookie banners on the popular codesharing site. Describing cookie banners as “irritating,” GitHub decided to eliminate the use of “non-essential” cookies.

Microsoft's GitHub recently removed unnecessary cookies from its website. As a result, you will no longer see any cookie banners that you have to click to get rid of.
