GitHub has enabled push protection by default for all public repositories to prevent accidental exposure of secrets such as access tokens and API keys when pushing new code.

If you try to push to GitHub, you will be told you need a personal access token. Support for password authentication was removed on August 13, 2021. Please use a personal access token instead.
