The already expensive $700+ PS5 Pro isn’t getting a price increase in any region. And Sony announced a slight price drop for the optional PS5 disc drive that can be attached to a digital-only model.
Sony is cutting the price of the “slim” PS5 digital edition by $70 through December 24th. Typically, that PS5 model costs $449.99, but it will start at $379.99.
Sony has revealed that it will be giving a big price cut to the PlayStation 5 throughout the holiday season. Outside of some rare deals in the past, Sony has rarely discounted the PS5.
