In the wake of Michael Malone's firing from the Denver Nuggets, everyone immediately turned their attention to three-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic. After all, Malone's infighting with former Denver general manager Calvin Booth basically wasted two of Jokic's prime years.

With so much turmoil going on in Denver, oddsmakers have given the Los Angeles Lakers the best odds (+500) to be the next team Jokic plays for. Jokic and Luka Doncic are very close friends and the Lakers already pulled off the impossible once by acquiring Doncic from the Dallas Mavericks.
