With the release of the SRM7500, Philips claims the title of being the first to ship a Windows SideShow-capable remote. Unfortunately, actual support for SideShow isn't quite ready yet.

Pairing a new or even secondhand Philips universal remote shouldn't be a complicated process. Typically, there's a set of codes for specific brands, which we'll touch on shortly.
