For a moment, Boston Celtics fans feared the worst. Jayson Tatum, their franchise star, went down with an ankle injury during Monday night’s 113-95 win over the Sacramento Kings, leaving the game early.

During the Celtics' matchup against the Sacramento Kings that evening, Tatum gave Boston fans a huge scare, exiting the game with 3:35 left in the third quarter due to an ankle injury. After jumping to shoot a 3-pointer, Tatum came down on Kings forward Domantas Sabonis' foot, and fell to the ground in pain, where he stayed for quite some time.
