Currently, the Minecraft Java Edition is on the 1.20.4 version. It comes under the major 1.20 version, named the Trails and Tales update.

Once the installation is complete, you can head back to the main launcher page of Java Edition. There, click on the drop-down list of versions beside the "Play" button to find the old beta version.
