The new Google Home app is finally adding a web app for live camera feeds and a more advanced Script Editor in the future.

The Google Home platform has some powerful new automation tools thanks to a new script editor that adds more conditions and starters to its home automation capabilities.

Google's script editor tool is available starting today on home.google.com for those who are a part of the Google Home public preview.

Back in June, the Google Home Script Editor launched to let users build more advanced automations, and it’s soon getting a “help me script” feature powered by generative AI.

After releasing its redesigned Home app last month, Google is giving users far more control over their smart homes via new script editor.

For now, you can access the script editor through the public preview build of the Google Home app or the web. You can find some sample scripted automations over at Google's developer center.
