I have several folders in Finder, but I can find no way of keeping them in alphabetical order. They move according to when they were last accessed, which, for my work, is confusing.

In Windows 11/10, you can sort files with their types, names, dates, sizes, etc. But if you want to sort your Downloads into folders, you have to use a third-party program.

The three sorting tools do have three distinct functions: Arrange By lets you organize files into groups. The Sort By option lets you choose how your files are sorted (by name, date, etc.).
