Now, though, with the offseason continuing to drag on, Syracuse and Brown have been hit with a steady stream of players deciding to hit the transfer portal in search of a new program. Their latest departure came on Friday in the form of true freshman defensive lineman Maraad Watson.

The Boilermakers tried to beef up their secondary and by doing so may have lost a key player for the program's future.

Redshirt freshman quarterback Trever Jackson plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, per On3. He will have all four years of eligibility remaining.
