Close the Excel spreadsheet without resaving it. Click the "File" tab, and click "Save As." Enter a name for the PowerPoint organizational chart, and click the "Save" button.

Templates and wizards are included with the product that take data from existing sources, such as an Excel spreadsheet, and populate Visio charts. As data is changed, the chart is updated.
