A crow lifts off from a tree on Walnut Avenue at the corner of Lincoln Street near Santa Cruz High School in Santa Cruz.
The American crow is the “default” crow across most of North America. It overlaps broadly with the common raven, and to a lesser extent with the Chihuahuan raven, fish crow, and northwestern crow.
The Crow is sitting in a tree with a piece of cheese in its beak. The passing Fox would like to eat the cheese and tries to persuade - and then trick - Crow to bring the cheese down or drop it.
