Unity Technologies is seeking $125 million in a new round of funding, which could double the company’s valuation to nearly $6 billion, according to a report from TechCrunch.

Unity’s latest layoffs come amid broader workforce reductions across much of the tech industry. Like Unity, a handful of companies, including Meta and Amazon, have announced multiple rounds of cuts.
