Google is refreshing the way the Android robot logo and wordmark look, as reported by 9to5Google. The robot logo is getting a 3D head, and the Android wordmark is getting a capital A.

While the app icons have followed the flat design trend, the Android robot has been transformed into a 3D representation. This logo redesign appears to indicate more than just a grammatical shift.

Along with the new text design, the iconic 2D Android head is getting a 3D treatment. Google changed the Android logo in 2019 when it removed the full Android robot body in favour of just the head.
