The 2023 Ford F-150 Raptor costs $78,670 including an $1,895 destination charge, but opting for the Raptor R and its supercharged V-8 adds $30,575 to the price before adding options.

Ford didn’t need to go far to find a suitable V-8 for Raptor R duty. The supercharged 5.2-liter engine from the Mustang Shelby GT500 was more than capable, with a few alterations for off-road duty.

This generation of F-150 Raptor is pretty special too, of course, and the Raptor R takes it a step further with pretty much all the niceties as standard. We’re hard-pressed to pick a winner now.
