Fleury's family is ready for his curtain call in Montreal as well. In an Instagram Story post, Fleury's wife, Veronique Larosee, shared a photo of her and their kids getting ready for the travel to Montreal. "Off to Montreal," Larosee wrote in part.
The last time Fleury was in Montreal he received a standing ovation after the Wild's 5-2 win in October of 2023. He was the first star of the game. On Thursday, Fluery said he would have over 100 family members and friends at the Bell Centre. Not only that but there were many Fleury fans in attendance cheering him on.

Sorel-Tracy, a shipbuilding town of about 35,000 on the St. Lawrence River, an hour or so north of Montreal, was about 100 residents lighter on Thursday night.
