Australia's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Penny Wong, said that Australia is one of the few foreign government to have been invited to attend the inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met Japan's Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya and Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong in Washington DC to discuss bilateral cooperation and Quad developments.
