ANN ARBOR — Over the final 1:42 of Monday night’s game against Penn State, Michigan’s Tre Donaldson delivered a pretty assist, made two huge shots, including the game-winning basket, and converted a couple of free throws to seal the victory.
Michigan had a tough time putting Penn State away, even when the Nittany Lions were throwing the ball away. During one sequence, an errant pass by Rubin Jones led to a pull-up 3-pointer by Ace Baldwin in transition, cutting the lead to 57-54.
