Tight end Travis Kelce has officially broken a long-standing Kansas City Chiefs franchise record held by legendary Pro Football Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez.

With his second reception of the day against the LA Chargers, Kelce collected his 917th career reception, the most in team history. Kelce and Gonzalez have nearly 400 more receptions than the third-place player,

Kelce had seven receptions for 89 yards as the Chiefs rallied for a 17-10 victory against the Los Angeles Chargers. With his second catch, he passed Hall of Fame tight end Tony Gonzalez for the franchise mark. Kelce declined to speak with reporters in the locker room after the game.
