MUMBAI – Shariful Islam Shehzad, a Bangladeshi national who illegally entered India as Bijoy Das, has confessed to attacking Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan during a burglary at his Bandra residence on January 16. The case has drawn attention to issues of illegal immigration and urban security.

According to the Mumbai police, the photographs were seized from the accused Shehzad's mobile phone. The suspects were those men who were interrogated by the police while on the lookout for the main culprit.

MUMBAI: A manhunt that spanned three days came to a successful conclusion when Mumbai and Thane police apprehended Shariful Islam Shehzad Mohammed Rohilla Amin Fakir, a 30-year-old illegal immigrant from Bangladesh.
