Having etched her name across the record book during the 2024 WNBA season, Caitlin Clark has been named the league’s Rookie of the Year, league sources told on Friday. That Clark won the award came as little surprise considering how prolific her debut season was.

Clark finished her rookie season averaging 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and a league-leading 8.4 assists. She broke records along the way, including most assists in a season and a game, most 3-pointers by a rookie and most points by a rookie. In addition, she produced the first two rookie triple-doubles in WNBA history.

Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark has been named the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year, according to a report from Shams Charania, which coincides with a social media post from the WNBPA that appeared to inadvertently leak the award winners.
