Bong Joon Ho and Robert Pattinson kicked off the long-awaited launch of Mickey 17 with the first official press event for the movie in the Korean capital of Seoul on Monday. Korean director Bong’s first feature since his 2019 Cannes Palme d’Or and quadruple Oscar winner Parasite,

For those who don’t know, Mickey 17 marks director Bong Joon-ho’s first movie after his successful movie Parasite (2019). The movie premiered at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival, where it became the first Korean film to win its top prize. Mickey 17 will be released on the big screens on March 7, 2025.

At the event, Pattinson wore a pair of oversized trousers with a baggy silhouette and dropped crotch. The hemline of the pants bunched overtop Pattinson’s chunky boots. Pattinson also wore a loose-fitting navy shirt and layered up with a blue striped cotton shirt and blue checked cotton reversible jacket with Christian Dior couture embroidery courtesy of the men’s spring 2025 collection.

Oscar-winning director Bong Joon Ho is back with Mickey 17, a sci-fi film starring Robert Pattinson in the lead role. The film releases in theatres in March.
