Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic played arguably the best match of the 21st century in the 2019 Wimbledon final which saw the Serbian emerging victorious in a nerve-wrecking five setter contests, outlasting the 20-time Grand Slam winner Federer, who had two championship points on offer on his own serve but was unable to convert them both.

BELGRADE, Serbia (AP) — Novak Djokovic won’t defend his ATP Finals title after ruling himself out on Tuesday due to an unspecified injury. Djokovic wrote in an Instagram story, “I was really looking forward to being there, but due to ongoing injury I won’t be playing next week. Apologies to those who were planning to see me.”

Novak Djokovic will not play at the ATP Finals in Turin because of injury. The Serbian won a record seventh title at the season-ending event last year by beating Jannik Sinner in the final and will miss it for only the second time since making his debut in 2007.
