Brazil has held Ecuador to a 0-0 draw in a South American World Cup qualifying game that marked Carlo Ancelotti’s debut as national team coach.

Carlo Ancelotti will make his long-awaited debut as the head coach of Brazil's national team on Thursday when the five-time World Cup winners travel to Ecuador in one of the final matches of South America's World Cup qualifying competition.

Ecuador take on Brazil on Thursday, June 5, at the Estadio Monumental Banco Pichincha in Guayaquil, with kickoff set for 6 p.m. ECT local time in Ecuador. That makes it an 8 p.m. BRT in Brazil, an 7 p.m. ET or 4 p.m. PT kickoff in the US and Canada, a 12 midnight BST start in the UK and a 1 a.m. AEST kickoff in Australia on Monday.
