Burn ban lifted in Upshur Country, remains in effect in Gregg, others
Burn bans have been lifted in two East Texas counties but remain in effect in others. Upshur and Marion counties lifted their bans Thursday after light rainfall in the region. However, Upshur County Judge Todd Tefteller said the burn ban there could be reinstated soon and swiftly.
