According to reports, 19 other students from the University of Texas at Dallas and 27 students from the University of North Texas also had their records removed from the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS), the federal database that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security uses to maintain information on international students.

The U.S. Secretary of State has said more than 300 student visas have been revoked. That may include two recent graduates of UT Austin, who were staying in the country to work.

UT Austin students are standing with international students and demanding protections for them amid a crackdown on immigration from the federal government.
