The protests were held to hit the Tesla CEO in his wallet as retaliation for widespread cuts he has made to the federal government and its spending through DOGE.

San Francisco – Crowds protesting billionaire Elon Musk’s cuts in the U.S. government under President Donald Trump began amassing outside Tesla dealerships throughout the U.S. and in some cities in Europe on Saturday in the latest attempt to dent the fortune of the world’s richest man.

Organizers who are part of a campaign called the “ Tesla Takedown ” said they are hoping to spur people into non-violent action against Musk to voice their discontent with Musk’s actions as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency. In his role, Musk has led an aggressive campaign to dismantle parts of the federal government.

The Swig Company has signed two new AI tenants at 501 Second St. in the South of Market neighborhood for nearly 20,000 square feet combined, the RealDeal reports. LangChain is taking 11,800 square feet in the seven-story 200,000-square-foot former warehouse, while unitQ has signed on for 7,500 square feet.
