The rivalry between the former business partners is heating up in court over OpenAI’s plan to become a for-profit company.

In a friend of the court filing by Harvard law professor Lawrence Lessig, a dozen former employees accuse OpenAI of abandoning its nonprofit roots and betraying the mission that originally attracting them to the organization.
