Roblox is introducing a way to let trusted friends chat more freely among themselves, but it will require that they use a new age estimation tool to verify that they’re over 13.

A viral video on TikTok shows a mother in distress after her child spent over $800 on "Roblox," but it could have been prevented with Screen Time.

Users over 13 will be prompted to use the facial-analysis software to estimate their age and determine whether they can access the new “trusted connections.”
