Robert Griffin III is returning to the broadcast booth after an eight-month absence from television. The former Heisman Trophy winner, who parted ways with ESPN last year, is reportedly joining Fox Sports as their second-ranked college football game analyst for the upcoming season.

Robert Griffin III is reportedly getting set to begin a new job with a major television network. Griffin has been hired by Fox Sports to serve as the network’s No. 2 college football analyst, Andrew Marchand of The Athletic reported on Thursday.

The former Baylor quarterback was fired from ESPN eight months ago during a series of budget cuts, but appeared on Netflix's NFL game broadcast.
