Openview has activated over 3.5 million decoders to date, adding hundreds of thousands of new decoder activations every year for at least the past five years.

Openview has already launched three channels in its new financial year: eXposed on 4 April 2022, ePlesier on 18 April 2022, and The Home Channel + on 16 May 2022.

Occasionally OpenView HD decoders are phased out. This is despite the promise that you only need to buy the decoder once and use it forever. Even Multichoice occasionally phases out decoders.

New Openview decoder Last week, eMedia announced the launch of the new Openview OV512 decoder. The OV512 boasts a built-in Wi-Fi receiver, providing access to a broader range of premium content.
