This fire extinguisher looks just like a shotgun, but it is incredibly effective at dealing with dangerous fires. It's called the IFEX 3000 and it has been used by firefighters in Germany since 1994.

It's safer to use than a normal fire extinguisher: it spreads dry powder that doesn't harm humans or the environment, and you can throw it farther than the range of a normal extinguisher.
