A stylish new Leaf EV, now confirmed for the U.S., and hybrid and PHEV versions of the Rogue, are part of a more extensive product refresh for Nissan in more than a decade.

Nissan has revealed that it's planning a third-generation Nissan Leaf, along with an electric update of the popular Micra and Juke models for Europe.

It can be hard to remember in this Tesla-dominated media environment, but Nissan once sat at the front of the pack when it came to electric vehicles, back at the launch of the first-generation Leaf in 2009.
