Mario Kart World is one of the Nintendo Switch 2's launch titles and after some time with it yesterday during the Nintendo Switch 2 hands-on event, it's clear that this is a system seller.

2022’s Mario Kart Tour, and 2017’s Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. It was technically added to Mario Kart 8 before Mario Kart 8 Deluxe via DLC Pack 2 in 2015, but it was not available at launch.

Mario Kart World is the first Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive title and it will launch on the same day as the console.

During today’s big Nintendo Switch 2 Direct, the company revealed a ton of new games, confirmed the console will launch in June, and showed off Mario Kart World, a new open-world racing exclusive for the Switch 2 that will cost $80.

Oringinally teased with the Switch 2 reveal, Mario Kart World is the first official Switch 2 exclusive game racing to your system with 24 racers.
