South Korean police have launched defamation investigations involving actor Kim Soo Hyun and the late actress Kim Sae Ron, following separate complaints filed earlier this month.

Several international brands including luxury house Prada have cut ties with South Korean superstar actor Kim Soo Hyun after he became embroiled in controversy this month over the nature of his relationship with late actress Kim Sae-ron.

South Korean actress Kim Sae-ron’s death sparked controversy this year. In recent updates, her ex-boyfriend has reportedly stated that actor Kim Soo-hyun had no involvement in her death. According to a report by Koreaboo,
