Importing files from a hard drive created on a Windows machine is a no-brainer; Windows PCs "understand" each other's data. On the other hand, the same doesn't apply to Linux and Mac drives.

Values in a CSV file are separated by commas. If your CSV file uses different separators, such as semicolons or tabs, select them instead of "Comma." Click "OK" to import the CSV file in OpenOffice.
