Illinois men’s basketball has its second transfer portal pickup of the 2025 offseason. California transfer Andrej Stojakovic committed to the Illini on Monday. Stojakovic comes to Champaign after one season with Cal and one season with Stanford.

California transfer Andrej Stojakovic, one of the premier talents in the college basketball transfer portal and the son of former NBA All-Star Peja Stojakovic, announced his commitment to Illinois on Monday,

Returning to Stanford was under consideration for Stojakovic, who was also looking at North Carolina as a possible destination. At Illinois, he'll become the team's leading scorer, based on last season's numbers. Freshman Kasparas Jakucionis led the Illini last season with 15 points per game, but is moving on after declaring for the NBA Draft.
