In Windows 10, you can search for files and other content using the built-in Search tool on the Taskbar. However, you can also search for files directly through File Explorer.
At Build, Microsoft now says it’s adding native version control to File Explorer by integrating systems like Git and will offer both 7z and TAR compression there, too.
According to The Verge, the Windows File Explorer update will integrate Git systems, allowing users to examine changes and comments without leaving the app, as announced at MS Build.
