Disable Bubbles Entirely If you'd rather disable the notification Bubbles for all apps, you can do that, too! On your Android phone or tablet, go to Settings > Notifications > Bubbles.

There is no way to turn off notification summaries for a specific app category, such as news, productivity, utility, shopping, travel, and finance.

OS X Mavericks will now display app notifications on your lock screen by default. For added privacy, you might want to disable them.
