Robot maker Apptronik entered a deal that could have its humanoid bots building themselves on factory lines. The Austin-based company announced a partnership on Tuesday with supply chain giant Jabil.
Figure, a startup that wants to build general-purpose humanoid robots, has raised $70 million from investors led by Parkway Venture Capital in its first external round, the company said on Wednesday.
China also wants humanoid robots to think, learn and innovate by 2027, and plans to establish a reliable industry supply chain system to support their manufacture, it said.
