Devin Booker is ready for his Detroit Lions to play the Washington Commanders in a divisional round showdown at Ford Field Saturday night. Booker's Phoenix Suns happened to be in Detroit to play the Pistons Saturday, which tipped off four hours before kickoff down the street. Perfect timing.

When the Lions-Commanders game time was announced as 8 p.m. on Saturday, the Pistons' game was moved up and hour to 4 p.m. That allowed a window for Booker, a Lions fan, and teammate Kevin Durant, a Maryland native and Commanders fan, to make it to the game less than a mile away at Ford Field.

Durant is a Washington, D.C. native and fan of the Commanders. Booker is a Michigan native and fan of the Detroit Lions. Their teams are set to play Saturday in Detroit in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs — the same day the Suns are in town to play the Pistons.

The Detroit Pistons are playing early today, an entree before the main course of the Detroit Lions faceoff with the Washington Commanders in the NFC playoffs. A full day of Detroit sports hopefully means we will get to enjoy a raucous crowd.
