The On-premises data gateway service is picking up some new PowerShell cmdlets in preview. These aim to automate gateway management tasks and require PowerShell core 6.2.2 or higher to run.

The September update of the gateway bumps the service to version version 3000.9.194, and brings an updated version of the Mashup Engine, matching the one released this month for Power BI Desktop.

The updates to the Power BI business analytics tools include improved diagnostics and preview support versions for several SAP products.
