Liverpool upset Arsenal to reach the semi-finals of the Women's FA Cup for the first time in eight years. The only goal of the 1-0 victory came in the 78th minute when a shot from Sophie Roman Haug struck a post and hit the back of goalkeeper Daphne van Domselaar before finding the net.

The win puts City in the hat for the semi-final draw which takes place later on Sunday evening. Chelsea kept their quadruple hopes alive with a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace. The hosts saw goals in either half disallowed with Aggie Beever-Jones and Catarina Macario denied for the latter being flagged offside in the build-up to both efforts.
