When we compile against the shared libraries for IPP using 4.8.2 and when certain IPP functions are invoked, we get an undefined reference to pthread_atfork in libguide.so (an IPP library).

A call to pthread_kill w/ sig 0 and an invalid pthread_t results in a segfault everytime. Handling a segfault just to detect thread validity is not an option. Any ideas?
